Non Muse Event #2

For my Non- Muse event I attended the Boys Basketball game, so I’ll write a quick short blog on it. This was my first time actually going to a college basketball game, and I came to the conclusion that television only shows the packed gyms on air. The basketball game was not sold out; it actually had a very small crowd for a college game. I went to this event with a large group of friends; out of the group of friends from the class was Roberto and Troy. I experienced a couple new things, for example how much faster the pace of the game is from High School to College and how much more athlete everyone is, not to mention the size difference. The crowd support wasn’t what I expected it to be, but then again SJSU is well known for their academics and not athletics. The boy’s team ended up winning the game by 20 something points and it was a great win to start the season off with. I do plan on attending more game in the future since I do enjoy watching athletics, except this time I will not put homework aside like a did the first time. I encourage everyone to come out and watch the sporting event and maybe we can support our campus with the same school spirit that other campuses like USC, UCLA, and SDSU have. Plus you get in free so who can beat that deal. Well, hopefully we bump heads at the next game.
