Lyrics Analysis

I chose to give my personal opinion on the song “Always” by Blink 182. This song starts off by talking about this couple who just doesn’t seem to have it all together, they’re slowly falling apart. The boyfriend in the relationship is trying to get everything back together while the girl keeps refusing and pushing him away. The whole time he just begs her back and takes blame for everything that has gone wrong in their relationship. The boyfriend keeps hearing stories of who she’s sleeping with. He tries to hide what he is feeling inside and lets it go. He is just sick of fighting.
These lyrics don’t mean a whole lot to me it is just one of those songs that I like. At times it brings back memories of that old high school sweetheart. How you’re always fuzzing and fighting. Once you leave her you hear stories of who she’s dating and the more you play it off the more it gets to you. You just feel like you’re the better man but your too cool to even look her way. It makes me think of how we guys think it is cool to do the whole messing around thing after a break up, but we don’t expect the girl to be one the same track. I just personally like this song because it was a good hit growing up, just one of those song everyone plays for no real reason. I guess I just use to the song. lol
